CORE Experiential Practice 1.0

A focused experiential learning space for therapists who wish to move beyond learning models and deepen their moment-to-moment therapeutic work.

Designed for therapists trained in trauma-informed therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy, this program offers guided practice integrating experiential principles from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.

NOTE: This training is only open for those who completed the Trauma-informed psychological interventions and Emotionally focused therapy training with CORE

About the program

Many therapists learn powerful therapeutic models and concepts, yet often wish for a space to slow down and practice the moment-to-moment experiential work of therapy.

Many therapists who completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy training with Connect & Restore have also expressed a desire for advanced learning spaces focused on refining specific experiential skills through practice.

CORE Experiential Practice 1.0 is designed in response to this need.

This program offers an advanced experiential learning space where therapists can deepen their clinical presence, attunement, and experiential interventions in therapy.

Unlike lecture-based workshops, the program is primarily practice-focused, allowing therapists to refine their experiential skills through guided practice and reflection.

What this program focuses on

Participants will have the opportunity to deepen:

• Experiential therapy skills in the session
• Therapist attunement to emotional processes
• Moment-to-moment tracking of emotional experience
• Therapeutic presence and responsiveness
• Working with emotional blocks and defenses
• Facilitating deeper emotional processing in therapy

More than 80% of the training involves experiential practice in small triad

Important Participation Requirement

This program consists entirely of practice-based experiential modules conducted in small groups.

Please enroll only if you can remain fully available with both video and audio enabled throughout the training, as active participation is essential for the learning process.

This program is a practice-focused experiential training designed to help therapists develop key skills such as moment-to-moment tracking of verbal, non-verbal, and paraverbal cues, working with defenses, and deepening emotional processing in therapy.

  • Deepening emotional experience

  • Working effectively with defenses

  • Enhancing therapist attunement and presence

  • Facilitating experiential processing
